Subcontractor Claims on Federal Government Projects

At an upcoming panel discussion about federal government contracting, AHC attorney David Cook’s portion will focus on subcontractors and trade contractors.  The legal issues and concerns – and even applicable law – differs from those involved in disputes between the federal government and prime contractors.  So David will highlight the goals and pitfalls of subcontractors and trade contractors and their counsel.

Topics will include:

  • Miller Act claims and pitfalls
  • Applicable law and regulations
  • Arbitration clauses
  • Prompt Pay Acts
  • Pass-Through Claims

The panel discussion will take place on November 17, 2021, at the Atlanta Bar Construction Law Breakfast.
