AHC Attorney G. Mark Cole Named to NERC Rules Drafting Team

As the nation’s interstate electricity regulator, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) recently ordered the North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) to develop a revised definition of the “bulk electric system.”  NERC is the nation’s Electric Reliability Organization, which means that NERC must establish and enforce electric reliability standards for the bulk power system.  In accordance with FERC’s directive, NERC appointed a drafting team to develop rules of procedure for facilities included in the definition to be deemed excluded, and facilities excluded from the definition to be deemed included.

AHC Attorney G. Mark Cole has been named to the rules drafting committee, along with the following other members.
