Antonio E. Veal represents contractors, business owners, government entities, and individuals in business disputes, contract disputes, and construction disputes. For his business clients, Antonio handles all aspects of representation, including pre-litigation negotiations and resolutions, litigation responsibilities, and appellate practices to ensure desired legal outcomes.
Antonio also represents clients who have suffered personal injuries as a result of negligent acts and omissions committed by individuals and companies. Antonio conducts thorough pre-suit investigations to determine how to properly handle his clients’ claims. Using his legal knowledge and litigation skills, Antonio has been able to secure numerous six-figure resolutions for his clients.
Antonio has a wealth of legal experience. As a seasoned criminal prosecutor and litigator, Antonio tried over 35 jury trials, handled bench trials, and protected numerous cases on appeal before the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Antonio worked on a number of complex and high-profile cases (Racketeering Influencing and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) cases, murder cases, money laundering cases, and Street Gang Terrorism cases, and became the lead prosecutor for the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit (DeKalb County) Gang Unit.
After leaving criminal prosecution, Antonio worked for a national civil defense firm, the United States Department of Homeland Security, and one of largest plaintiff’s personal injury firms in the country, where he specialized in litigating premises liability cases.
Antonio is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. A native of North Carolina, he received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where he participated in mock trial and worked on the school’s Law Journal. Antonio also obtained his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
