Alan Paulk understands the unique challenges of the construction business because he grew up it. His father was a developer and Alan was a spec home builder from 2004-2008. He understands the opportunities, rewards, and the risks.
Unlike many attorneys who go directly from college to law school and then into large firms, Paulk went into business. He was founder and sole proprietor of Rubix Properties, LLC, a real estate acquisition and custom residential construction and renovation firm. The ups and downs of entrepreneurship and business relationships are deep in his bones and his practice reflects this understanding.
A graduate of Emory Law School and UGA, Alan is a tech-savvy attorney with an entrepreneurial soul. After engagements with the Coffee County District Attorney’s office, Boone & Stone, and several years as a partner in Burroughs, Keene, Paulk, & Von Schuch, LLC, he joins AH&C with a sharp focus on builder law.
Alan is married to Dr. Meaghan McKenna, an Atlanta pediatrician, and is the father of three children.
